I will be the first to admit that my wife handled our situation as I was busy, which is probably why they got away with what they did. She did say the customer service here is friendly, which is why they got two stars (and not one). However, when we are charged $850 for an alternator replacement on a Dodge Caravan '12, and I do research and ask 2 mechanic friends of mine, and they say we should've paid $300-400, then I do an online search and they say $183-462 (parts & labor), I do have a problem with that. I am hoping management reads and responds because this is not okay. I do plan to follow up with Honest-1 and figure out why we were charged twice the amount everyone else says we should've been charged. Response to "Response from Owner": For some reason, it wouldn't let me respond to the response. Although we did pay $750 out of pocket, the charge was actually $850, although you were nice enough to take $100 off. I do appreciate that and the time to respond, so we gave an extra star. I spoke with an Auto Mechanic in the area, a guy who is on a race team, and a few others, and they all couldn't believe the price-point. I do think that you all have nice customer service and you did work with us, so I appreciate that, but there should really be a lifetime warranty at that point. Was it brand new or a re-build?
